In this course, we described key features of the architecture, focusing on those that are unique to R8C Tiny series MCUs. We underlined the differences between the R8C core and the M16C core, with which it is compatible. We covered the register set, instruction set, and addressing modes. Clock circuits, operating modes, power consumption, and interrupts were also discussed.
