This table shows the power that an R8C/11 MCU consumes. These are typical of those achieved by the R8C/1x family of devices and later generations will use less power than what is shown here. In Active mode, with all functions active and driven by the system clock, the current consumption at 20MHz is 8mA at 5V. It is 8mA at 3V. At 3V and 10MHz, the current is reduced to almost half that value. In Wait mode, with the 125kHz low-speed On-chip oscillator running and the main oscillator shut off, the current is 38µA at 3V. Stop mode is the lowest power mode. No oscillators are running. The current consumption in Stop mode is only 0.8µA at 5V and 0.7µA at 3V.
