As you can see, the starting location of the SFR (Special Function Register) and RAM are the same for the R8C CPU core as they are for the M16C core. The SFR begins at 0000H and the RAM area begins at 400 hex and expands up. Flash or ROM memory begins at 0FFFF (base 16) and expands down.
