The NXP Tower System development platform is a new modular design environment from NXP that helps quickly evaluate and prototype design applications. Open source software provides quick development with proven designs that can be immediately reused in a development platform. Technologies like WiFi, LDC, serial and memory interfacing, and off-the-shelf development tools give a customized feel to an MCU solution. As more functionality and design capabilities are required, more modules can be added to the Tower System library. In addition, standardized, open-source hardware allows NXP, its customers, and partners to design additional modules for added functionality and customization.
