The MC9S08LL64/36 features an 8-bit S08 core able to run up to 40MHz that includes an MMU, operates from 1.8 to 3.6V, and features low standby power consumption. The MCU also has analog modules such as a 10-channel 12-bit ADC and analog comparator. The dual bank 32K Flash memory available in the 9S08LL64 updates easily by programming the data array while executing code and handling interrupts from the program array. The MC9S08LL family allows easy migration from 8K flash devices all the way to 64K with a pin for pin compatible 64-LQFP package. With NXP’s integrated LCD driver, the LL64 drives up to 288 segments and supports backplane and front plane reassignment. In addition to these features, the MCU’s peripherals include two SCI interfaces, IIC, SPI, KBI, a TOD module, ACMP, 2 x 2 channel 16-bit TPM, a 10-channel 12-bit ADC, and a VREF module.
