AT25EU NOR Flash Memory Series

Renesas' AT25EU is an ultra-low energy serial NOR Flash focusing on achieving the fastest operation and the lowest power consumption to attain the lowest energy.

Typical low-power Flash has long erase and program times and slow read speeds that drive up energy consumption. The Renesas AT25EU Flash reduces energy and power consumption by executing read, erase, and programming tasks faster and with the lowest amount of power, resulting in more than 70% energy savings versus typical Flash.

The AT25EU achieves significant energy savings across key memory functions:

• Faster read consumes only 30% of the power used by typical Flash
• Up to 75% energy savings can be realized during a program operation
• As much as 60 times faster erase uses only 1% of the energy of typical Flash for full chip erase
• Reduced erase times, regardless of memory block size, enable faster, lower-energy over-the-air (OTA) updates and simplify system config updates
