The STOP mode is the power saving mode of the LPC3250. In this mode, all CPU and AHB operations will cease and clocks are stopped to all peripherals except the USB block. The HIGHCORE output pin may be used to save additional power during STOP Mode or during low frequency operation like Direct RUN mode. It can be used to signal the external circuitry to lower the core supply voltage to 0.9V. This pin can be configured in software. Please note that the USB block will not be affected by the mode changes since it uses its own PLL.
