The LTC3857/-1 are almost identical to the LTC3890/-1 except that the LTC3890/-1 is able to operate from a higher 60V input voltage, whereas the LTC3857/-1 can only operate up 38V. These parts are nearly pin-to-pin compatible, except for the over current threshold voltages. The LTC3858/-1 are also nearly identical to the LTC3890/-1 except that the LTC3890/-1 are able to operate from a higher 60V input voltage, with the LTC3858/-1 being able to operate at only up to 38V. In addition, the quiescent current for the LTC3858/-1 are higher at 170µA and the adjustable over current limit thresholds are slightly different between the two parts. The LT3845 is a single output controller that operates over a 4V to 60V input voltage range and has a 120µA quiescent current. This device can produce output voltages from 1.23V to 36V and the LTC3890/-1 can produce output voltages from 0.8V to 24V. The LT3845 does not have tracking, phase modulation or a power good signal and has a 250ns minimum on-time. The LTC3890 has tracking, phase modulation, a power good signal and has a lower minimum on-time of 95ns. Lastly, the LT3845 is available in the TSSOP-16E package, whereas the LTC3890/-1 are available in 5mm x 5mm QFN-32 and SSOP-28 packages.
