CMX901/CMX902 Broadband RF Power Amps

CML Micro’s CMX901 and CMX902 are three-stage, high-gain, high-efficiency RF power amps. The devices are ideal for VHF and UHF frequency bands up to 950 MHz (CMX901) and up to 700 MHz (CMX902). The first and second stages of the amps operate in a Class A and Class AB mode respectively, and the third stage operates in a Class C mode for maximum efficiency. The CMX902 device delivers 20% more output power than the CMX901.

External components are required to match the devices' input and output ports to 50 Ω. The power amps are available in a small footprint 5 mm x 5 mm, low thermal resistance 28-pin WQFN package making them ideal for small form factor applications such as data modules and handheld radio terminals. Consider using CMX902 if higher output power is required.
