The next-gen TPP 450 Series of 450 watt AC/DC power supplies utilizes a 91-94% high efficiency design using robust, industrial grade components providing superior performance in the standard 3 x 5“ open frame or 3.1 x 5.8 x 1.6” fully enclosed with fan footprint. No minimum load is required to get a fully regulated output. Standard features include 5 VDC standby at 2 A and a 12 VDC auxiliary fan output rated at 500 mA, and include a variable speed fan circuit designed into the power supply. The higher rated operating temperatures to +85°C for the open frame and +80°C for enclosed with fan were designed for demanding Industrial applications where extended thermal performance is often required. The power supply was designed to be used as a convection cooled, conduction cooled or forced air cooled solution while paying close attention to its market needs for a small mechanical package.
