The SuperSwitcher II^TM family of buck regulators has a patented Hyper Speed Control^TM architecture that enables ultra-fast transient response with smaller output capacitance. This architecture also enables high V_IN/low V_OUT step-down applications from a wide input voltage range. The Superswitcher II^TM family is Any Capacitor^TM stable and provides a ±1% high accuracy output voltage down to 0.8 V. The regulators in this family are available in a common footprint for easy upgrade in high power density applications. These devices have fold-back and hiccup mode current limit protection and are pre-bias safe. Most importantly, the SuperSwitcher II^TM devices do not require external compensation and are simple to use.
