Shown here is the block diagram of the MC9S08LL16. This device is based on the S08 core offering up to 20MHz of bus performance. One of the biggest benefits of the LL device is the ultra-low power features. The LL16 device family can be operated in run, wait and stop mode with a 6µs typical wake up time from stop mode. Other integrated features include an 8-channel, 12-bit analog-to-digital converter, an analog comparator, an I²C module and several integrated timers. These devices can support 112 segments when using four backplanes and up to 192 segments when using 8 backplanes.
