The MC9RS08LA8 device family features the 8-bit RS08 core operating at a 10MHz bus speed. It can support up to 168 segments when using 8 backplanes and support 100 segments when using 4 backplanes. Other features include a 6-channel, 10-bit analog-to-digital converter, an integrated analog comparator, 8-channel keyboard interrupt, and several integrated timers. This device family offers 8K of integrated flash and 256 Bytes of RAM. The LA8 device has an operating voltage range from 2.7 to 5.5V and is available in two different compact packages including the 48-pin QFN and 48-pin LQFP.
