In summary, we discussed how the Microchip SAM9 MPU products can be configured to boot from an external flash and also from the embedded ROM, providing support for numerous memories such as Nand, Dataflash, serial flash, SDCard, EEPROM or NOR Flash. There are several programming solutions available for SAM9 MPU products including SAM-BA GUI along with the tools from IAR or Keil to aid in system development.
