ROHM’s BD14000EFV-C self-contained cell balancing IC utilizes a shunt resistor method for EDLC cell
balancing operation. All necessary functions are integrated on a single chip, facilitating design while contributing to
further miniaturization.
- Self-contained EDLC balancing function
- Supports 4 to 6 cells connected in series
- Shunt resistor method provides simple cell balancing operation
- Adjustable detection voltage ensures compatibility with a variety of EDLC output voltages (2.4 to 3.1 V in 0.1 V steps)
