Knitter-Switch MERS 5 and MERS 7 rotary encoders provide compact input control solutions with footprints of 5.8 mm x 6.6 mm and 7.5 mm x 7.8 mm with heights under 3 mm. Both versions offer 6/12 pulses and 12/24 detents per turn, a hexagonal hollow shaft, SMT mounting, and operating lifetimes of 100,000 cycles for MERS 5 and 300,000 cycles for MERS 7. These encoders support space-constrained designs in home automation, HVAC equipment, and consumer electronics by delivering precise, durable rotary input in a minimal housing size.
