FLEXITERM® Capacitors
KYOCERA AVX's 100 V rated multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC) feature a robust termination structure against mechanical stress
KYOCERA AVX quality MLCCs are made with high-purity ceramics. KYOCERA AVX promotes miniaturization, higher capacitance, and higher function with a wide range of products that are suitable for diverse applications.
These medium-voltage capacitors offer an operating temperature of +125°C and a 100 V rating with a resin electrode between the Sn-/Ni-plating that normally covers the terminal electrode of an MLCC and the underlying electrode (Cu or CuNi). The resin electrode absorbs and relaxes external vibration and flexural stress, suppressing crack generation.
The industry standard for flexure is 2 mm minimum. Using these KYOCERA AVX flex-term capacitors provides up to 5 mm of flexure without internal cracks.
