3M's 1530 and 1530L is single-sided microporous nonwoven fabric medical tape on a roll that consists of a white rayon nonwoven fabric backing with an acrylic binder, coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. This fabric is breathable and is designed for health care medical devices or as a cover tape for finished devices, electrodes, and wound care dressings. The 1530L fabric features a liner and the 1530 does not have a liner. The liner is a silicone-treated, polyethylene-coated, one side only, bleached Kraft paper. The tape is wound with the liner on the inside of the roll.
