RECOM R78-S Evaluation Board | DigiKey Daily

RECOM’s R-78S evaluation board demonstrates the performance of the RECOM R-78S switching regulator in conjunction with a single-cell AA battery, energy harvesting device, or other low voltage sources. The R-78S is a high efficiency boost converter for IoT applications, providing a stable output from an input as low as 0.65 V to get the maximum available energy from a battery cell. The R-78S is a 100 mA converter with outputs at 1.8, 3.3, or 3.6 V for powering MCUs, wireless modules, and sensors. The modules offer continuous short circuit protection, very low standby consumption, and a wide operating temperature range. The board can output to headers or a micro USB port and has headers for measuring input and output current and voltage.
