Harwin Gecko-MT Mixed-Layout Connectors | DigiKey Daily

Harwin introduces their Gecko-MT series of mixed-layout connectors. These high-reliability signal and power connectors combine the 1.25 millimeter pitch Gecko signal connector system with 10-amp power contacts. These Gecko-MT connectors are the lightest and smallest mixed-layout connectors presently available for high-performance applications. The series includes cable-to-cable, cable-to-board, and board-to-board configurations. For the most intense environments, connections are ensured by employing stainless steel jackscrews, which are available in standard and reverse-fix. Also, metal hoods provide additional cable protection as well as EMI and RFI shielding. Applications include: aviation, such as controls, guidance systems, engine controls, and radar; motor sport and electric vehicles; space, including satellites, communications, and launch systems; and defense and security applications, such as UAVs and rugged vehicle electronics.
