Shown here is an actual comparison of the temperature for a 1W low resistance chip resistor. Susumu’s PRL series shows an even temperature distribution that slightly exceeds 100^oC, while the competitor’s part shows a significant hot spot in the middle of the resistor exceeding 200^oC.
