This slide summarizes the key features enabled by Skyworks Solutions new clock generators and clock buffers. Given the frequency flexibility of the Si533x/5x, a single device can replace up to four discrete clock generator ICs and/or standalone crystal oscillators (XOs). Each output clock is completely programmable in terms of frequency, signal format, and supply voltage. Discrete level translators are not required in a Si533x based design. Each Si533x device supports up to four differential clock outputs or eight single-ended clock outputs, providing a significant degree of clock distribution in addition to clock generation. Customers can eliminate external buffers given this level of integration. Frequency margining is an excellent feature to help customers greatly simplify product validation and system test, minimizing design time and BOM costs.
