Data can be transferred from quad SPI flash at ~50 Mbps. NXP’s bus structure and built-in DMA allow data transfer directly from serial flash to the LCD controller – no need to copy into internal SRAM ahead of time. The net effect is reduced SRAM and CPU overhead.
