First introduced in the MTU1 series, the improved topology that yields enhanced efficiency and load response is also incorporated in the MTU2 series. The efficiency gains extend across the entire load range providing improved efficiency performance both at full load and light load. As noted on the previous slide, higher efficiency reduces the temperature of the components which consequently increases component and assembly reliability. In addition, the high efficiency provides for lower power consumption that translates directly into lower operating costs.
