This slide illustrates the proprietary header-and-board construction of the MTU series converters which is now patent protected. This unique construction not only has a small footprint, but also provides for improved heat dissipation which, when coupled with the high efficiency topology of the MTU series, reduces component hot spots, consequently increasing reliability.
