This slide shows a comparison of the LTC3892/-1 to the LTC3890/-1, LTC3857/-1 and the LTC3858/-1. All of these parts have a low quiescent current; however, the LTC3892/-1’s IQ is considerably lower than the other parts resulting in a longer battery run-time when in standby mode. Additional LTC3892/-1 benefits include a higher input voltage rating, a higher output voltage capability, adjustable gate drive, integrated bootstrap diodes, a fixed output voltage option and a lower minimum on-time.
