MLCCs come in a wide range of case sizes which is defined by EIA 198. The case size designation consists of four characters that specify the length and width of the MLCC in inches. For example, an 0805 is 0.08 inches in length and 0.05 inches in width. KEMET offers case sizes ranging from 0201 to 4540.
