The industry standard for contact systems is a minimum of 0.3 N of force for a sound contact, low voltage, and amperage interconnect. As shown in this table, with 0.1 mm of deflection, the Universal Contact achieves a 0.3 N of force or greater. As the deflection continues to the proper working height, deflection forces of approximately 0.7 N can be achieved.
