In summary, the ZipLine™ Connector System provides a new level of signal density for high-performance backplane connectors. By reducing column pitch and increasing pin count per column, ZipLine connectors are able to achieve high signal density. Also, the connectors allow for flexible pin assignments and eliminate the costly and bulky shields between columns and terminals. Finally, there are a variety of power and guide modules that complement the ZipLine connector system and the connectors systems are available for standard backplane and orthogonal midplane applications.
