STMicroelectronics' M95M04-DW event recorder offers 4 Mbit of EEPROM, which allows design engineers to expand parameters, mix traceability, identification, calibration tables, and reserve significant memory area for event recording. Flexible and reliable datalog function is facilitated with 1 million erase/write cycles per byte and overall 1 billion cycles per device. Serial peripheral interface (SPI) runs at 10 MHz and keeps a short programming time of 4 ms while increasing page size to 512 bytes. M95M04-A125 and M95M04-A145 devices benefit Grade 0 high-reliability qualification and are available in SO8N and TSSOP packages.
