Featuring a selectable full scale of plus-minus 0.5, plus-minus 1, plus-minus 2, and plus-minus 3 g, this IC provides the measured accelerations to the host over an I²C or SPI digital interface. The high accuracy, stability over temperature, and repeatability makes this two-axis accelerometer especially suitable for inclination measurement applications. Designed as a low-power device, this IC uses only 0.42 milliamps with two axes delivering full performance. Other features include ultra-low noise performance, a smart embedded FIFO up to 3 kilobytes, programmable high-pass and low-pass digital filters, an embedded temperature sensor, a sensor hub to efficiently collect data from additional external sensors, an extended operating temperature range, and many others.
