Qualtek – 739W-X2/45 NEMA 5-15R Tamper-Resistant Power Outlet | Datasheet Preview

The Qualtek 739W-X2/45 are NEMA 5-15R tamper-resistant, snap-in AC power outlets with IDC terminals. The tamper-resistant system features a built-in shutter system which prevents foreign objects from touching electrically live components when they are inserted into the slots, but plugs can be inserted and removed just as with standard electrical outlets. These UL and cUL approved outlets have a rating of 15 amps at 125 volts and have universal panel thicknesses from 0.8 to 2 millimeters. The insulation displacement connections eliminate the need for special tools and are designed to be used with 14 gauge copper wire only. These outlets are ideal in outlet strips, uninterruptable power supplies, and industrial applications where an AC power outlet is needed.
