Low Rho Series for Overcurrent and Overtemperature Protection | Datasheet Preview

Littelfuse’s Low Rho Series of Surface Mount, Polymer, Positive Temperature Coefficient (PPTC) devices provide overcurrent protection for applications where ultra low internal resistance, ultra low voltage drop, and automatic, resettable protection are desired. Positive temperature coefficient devices increase in resistance as the temperature increases and therefore limit unsafe currents while allowing for a consistent current flow at safe levels. This resettable overcurrent protection function reduces warranty, service, and repair costs when compared to conventional fuses. Littlefuse Low Rho devices are UL recognized and TUV approved, and have a maximum fault current of 50 Amps. Available in package sizes ranging from 0402 to 2920, they support hold currents from 100 milli Amps to 9 Amps.
