LT8303 No-Opto Flyback Regulator | DigiKey Daily

The LT8303 is a micropower, high-voltage, isolated flyback converter. The LT8303 requires no third winding or opto-isolator for regulation, and the output voltage is programmed with a single external resistor. The part operates from an input voltage range of 5.5 V to 100 V and can deliver up to 5 W of isolated output power. Boundary-mode operation provides a small magnetic solution with excellent load regulation. Low-ripple burst-mode operation maintains high efficiency at light load. A 450 mA, 150 V DMOS power switch is integrated along with all high-voltage circuitry and control logic into a 5-lead thinSOT™ package. Several off-the-shelf transformers are shown in the data sheet, making it easy to complete the design.
