Hammond 1554/1555 Series Enclosures | Datasheet Preview

The Hammond Manufacturing 1554 and 1555 series enclosures are ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards or DIN rail mounted components. The light gray enclosures are composed of general purpose ABS plastic and carry a UL flammability rating of UL94 HB for indoor use. Polycarbonate versions are available with a cUL and UL 508A listing. The polycarbonate versions are designed to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 ratings which exceed an IP68 rating while the ABS plastic versions meet IP66 ratings. The gasketed lid features a two-piece "tongue & groove" construction and provides protection against oil, dust and water. The lid for 1554 and 1555 series is secured with included M4 stainless steel machine screws that are threaded into corrosion resistant bushings. All hardware is designed to avoid corrosion caused by harsh environments over time.
