This slide shows an example application using the LPC802 MCU as an MCU/MPU expander providing extended analog and digital resources. The LPC802 provides EEPROM storage, a 12-bit ADC for multiple analog sensors, as well as SPI, I²Cs for connectivity, and digital sensors interfaces everything packed in a tiny WLCSP package. The low-cost LPC802 MCU is capable of waking up the main MCU/MPU, providing a reduced power consumption in the overall system.
