Developed as a cohesive set of software development tools for Kinetis and LPC microcontrollers, the MCUXpresso software and tools bring together the best of NXP’s software enablement into one enablement platform for a shared software experience across a broader set of ARM® Cortex®-M MCUs. The LPC80x Family of MCUs is supported by the MCUXpresso IDE which is an easy-to-use integrated development environment for creating, building, debugging, and optimizing an application. The MCUs are also supported by the MCUXpresso SDK, an open-source software development kit built specifically for the microcontroller and evaluation needs. Furthermore, the MCUXpresso Configuration Tools with a comprehensive suite of system configuration tools, including pins, clocks, and SDK builder is also fully supported by the LPC80x family.
