The MCP651 evaluation board makes it easy to evaluate the input offset performance and the mCal functionality of this new amplifier family. The kit contains a fully assembled and tested printed circuit board, featuring the 8-SOIC MCP651 as well as some supporting circuitry. The input offset voltage of the amplifier is measured, amplified, and filtered and is available on a test point for easy measurement. The on-demand calibration feature can be easily evaluated by using the on-board push button, which will initiate a calibration routine by toggling the calibration hardware pin on the MCP651 device. In addition, the VCAL pin, which allows the user to set the common mode at which the calibration routine takes place, is connected to a potentiometer which allows the user to quickly adjust the common mode voltage.
