To accommodate the minimal size and thickness requirements of Fitness & Activity Trackers, C&K offers a variety of miniature and ultra-miniature Tact switches.  For assembly direct to the circuit board, designers can use the KMR series with a footprint of 4.2mm by 2.8mm.  For cost sensitive applications, C&K offers the PTS530 and PTS820 series with footprints of 4.5mm X 4.5mm and 3.9mm X 2.9mm respectively.  With footprints ranging from 3mm X 2.6mm for the KMT0 to 3mm X 2mm for the KXT3, C&K’s ultra-miniature Tact switches are the ideal choice when folded flexible circuits are used.  If side actuation is needed, the KMS comes in a 4.2mm X 3.55mm footprint and is sealed to IP40.  All switch options are SMT for high speed automated assembly processes.
