PUD Series Connectors

JST's PUD series double-row crimp-style connectors are disconnectable with a 2.0 mm (.079 in) pitch and secure positive locking features. Their compact size provides stable contact performance under high vibration, distortion, and unexpected external forces. The leaf spring structure of these contacts is designed to help prevent deformation due to unexpected forces. The housing receptacles are keyed to prevent accidental reverse mating or mating to a header without the same number of circuits. The header is designed with a secure locking device for applications that require high reliability under adverse conditions. An audible click is heard when mating the receptacle housing with the header.

The solder type dual-row construction allows for high density top and side entry mounting. The top entry header is offered in 8 to 40 (even numbers only) positions with or without a PCB locating boss and in four color options (natural, red, blue and black) to aid in manufacturing and assembly. The side entry header is offered in 8 to 30 (even numbers only), 36, and 40 positions and in two color options of natural and black to aid in manufacturing and assembly. Current rating is 3.0 A AC/DC at 250 V AC/DC. Contacts will accommodate wire sizes AWG #22 (UL1061) to #28 (UL1007) insulation. This series has an operating temperature range of -25°C to +85°C, including temperature rise when applying an electrical current. The contacts are tin-plated over a copper alloy base material. Molded in PBT rated 94V-O material, the polarized housings incorporate a finger-friendly design for ease of mating and unmating. Header plating is lead-free and complies with European and Chinese RoHS directives.
