Arduino Fundamentals Exam is NOW in Chinese!

Arduino Fundamentals by Arduino is an online exam that provides official certification on your knowledge of Arduino related electronics, programming, and physical computing. Previously the exam was only available in English, Spanish, German, and Italian.

In March 2020, Arduino partnered with Chaihuo x.factory to translate and localize the certification in Chinese which will be launched at the end of April. The certification exam involves 36 questions, is 75 minutes long, and costs ¥210. DigiKey, as a trusted partner of Chaihuo x.factory, is honored to be the strategic partner to share this good news to our engineers.

01. Who can take Arduino Fundamentals Certification?

Arduino Fundamentals is an entry-level certification exam for Arduino enthusiasts to validate your skills. The exam is based on the concepts introduced in the Arduino Starter Kit, as it offers all you need (components, project book, and support) to get started with Arduino, coding, and electronics in a hands-on way. As long as you master the knowledge covered by the kit, you can apply for the online exam that serves as a guarantee of your competence in the Arduino-related subjects. It could be used to highlight your skills and learning progress, and help to advance your career or education.

03. How does it work?

The Arduino Fundamental exam is web-based, and consists of 36 questions with 75 minutes to complete them all.

You will receive your results immediately after submission, indicating whether you passed or failed. To successfully pass the exam results will need to be over 70 marks. By passing the exam you will be rewarded with the Arduino Fundamentals certificate.

04. Ready to start?

Getting certified takes 4 simple steps.

Registration
Purchase the exam access code from the below QR Code. It gives you direct access to the dedicated purchase page in RMB on the Chaihuo x.factory website. Pay the examination fee of ¥210. You will receive an exam access code after registration.
Take Exam
Once the access is unlocked, you can take the exam right away, or take your time to prepare and come back whenever you feel ready. The access code will have an expiration date of 1 year. Passing the exam takes 70 marks or above.
Certified
Arduino certificates use a unique QR code system which enables an instant check of their validity online, making them impossible to forge or copy.
