STMicroelectronics' evaluation board for the L6981CDR synchronous monolithic step-down regulator is designed for DC applications up to 1.5 A supplied from 12 V and 24 V industrial bus systems (3.5 V to 38 V input voltage range). It is also highly suited to battery-powered applications with ultra-low standby consumption and excellent efficiency across all operating conditions, including light loads, while delivering very good input signal regulation with little or no voltage ripple.
