The Software Configurable Device Address register allows and makes easier multiple EEPROM insertions on a same I²C bus. Thanks to the identification page, this product proposes a space to store definitively sensitive application parameters. Clock frequency up to 1 MHz helps to reduce module wake up and communication time. Programming time has been reduced to 4 ms for faster data storage. Besides, as new design embeds only 5 activated pins over 8, it will offer PCB cost reduction. At last, based on new designed process, this product increases consumption effectiveness.
