M24256E-F 256 Kbit I²C EEPROM in TSSOP8
STMicroelectronics' EEPROM is available for e-metering modules, industrial, display, and printer applications
Thanks to state-of-the-art EEPROM process, STMicroelectronics' M24256E-F 256-Kbit EEPROM in a TSSOP8 package is now available for integration in the e-metering modules, Industrial, Displays, and printers applications. The Software Configurable Device Address register allows and makes easier multiple EEPROM insertions on a same I²C bus. Thanks to the identification page, this product proposes a space to store definitively sensitive application parameters. Clock frequency up to 1 MHz helps to reduce module wake up and communication time. Programming time has been reduced to 4 ms for faster data storage. Besides, as new design embeds only 5 activated pins over 8, it will offer PCB cost reduction. At last, based on new designed process, this product increases consumption effectiveness.
