CD10 Series 240 W DC/DC Converters

PULS’ CD10 series 240 W DC/DC converters are for applications with higher power requirements. The CD series includes the CD10.241 (input: 24 V; output: 24 V/10 A) and the CD10.482 (input: 48 V; output: 48 V/5 A). PULS offers nine DC/DC converters ranging from 92 W to 240 W.

The CD10 models offer a high level of efficiency. At 94.2% (CD10.241) and 95.1% (CD10.482), they generate 30% fewer losses than the nearest competitive device. The low losses save energy and reduce heat generation, which allows for a compact design with a width of just 42 mm. The minimal size saves valuable space on the DIN rail. Both models offer 20% output power reserves, a soft start function to reduce input inrush, and galvanic isolation from input to output. A wide range DC input and an adjustable DC output voltage are additional key features of the CD10 series DC/DC converters.

These DC/DC converters can be used to restore control voltage due to voltage drop at the end of a long cable run or to reduce ripple and noise at load sites caused by external devices in a control system thanks to the galvanic isolation.
