Omron's B5W-LA01 light convergent reflective sensor detects objects that general reflective sensors might miss
Omron’s B5W-LA01 light convergent reflective sensor detects mirror reflective surfaces and transparent objects with little influence of object color or material. This robust sensor has a maximum sensing distance of 70 mm providing an analog voltage output. Target applications include vending machines, home appliances, office automation equipment, ATMs, and many more. The convergence technology can accurately detect objects that a general purpose reflective sensor might miss. Examples range from sensing all types of paper in a copier to detecting the edge of floors regardless of the material.
