Murata Power Solutions' MGJ1 series through-hole DC/DC converters address high-voltage gate driver applications. Fourteen models have a 1 W power rating and are supplied in an industry standard SIP7 through-hole package.

Available in 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, and 24 V voltage rails, they feature +6 V/-3 V, +15 V/-3 V, +15 V/-5 V, +15 V/-9 V, +18 V/-2.5 V, and +20 V/-5 V bipolar outputs. They are intended to power IGBT, GaN, and SiC-based MOSFET high-voltage gate drivers used in industrial, renewable energy, and mobility applications.

Continuous barrier withstand voltage up to 2.4 kV plus 6 mm creepage and clearance separation distances
Extended operational temperature range of -40°C to +105°C

Built-in short-circuit protection mechanisms
Certified UL62368 compliant for 300 V_RMS reinforced insulation
ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 certification is currently pending
