Pmod™ RTCC: Real-Time Clock/Calendar
Digilent's real-time clock/calendar with nonvolatile memory and advanced features
Digilent's Pmod RTCC is a real-time clock/calendar powered by the Microchip MCP79410. Through the I2C interface, users may configure up to two alarms that can be triggered at a wide variety of possible times. This provides accurate time-keeping and alarm configuration for any long-term (or short-term) project. As the Pmod RTCC operates as a real-time clock, a calendar, and an alarm, users may have it simply act as analog clock by having it output a 1 Hz square wave. Alternatively, the module could be configured to chime every hour or to let someone know when it is their birthday.
