6 W to 24 W Wall Plug-In AC-DC Power Supplies

CUI's line of wall plug-in AC-DC power supplies from 6 W to 24 W are all designed to meet the stringent average efficiency and no-load power requirements mandated by the US Department of Energy (DoE) Level VI standards. 12 W to 24 W models with European input blades are also compliant with the European Union’s proposed CoC Tier 2 directive, which decreases the no-load power requirement to < 0.075 W. These required and proposed laws have implications for any OEM that designs products with an external AC-DC power supply for the US and European markets.

The SWI6-N, SWI12-N, SWI18-N, and SWI24-N series feature North American input blades, well-suited for the US and Japanese markets. The SWI6-E, SWI12-E, SWI18-E, and SWI24-E series feature European input blades. Models with input blades for North American and Japanese applications offer UL/cUL and PSE safety approvals, while models with European input blades come with the CE mark. All models also meet FCC Part 15 Class B standards for EMI/EMC.
