SCT2400 Low Power, Long-Range Voice Communications

CML Micro's SCT2400 is an integrated baseband and RF transceiver chip for long-range, low power voice communications. It features a 2.4 GHz band radio transceiver that can support ultra-long-distance communications while having strong anti-interference capabilities. The SCT2400 also integrates a data and voice transmission baseband core to handle all of its baseband processing. It provides a complete physical and data link layer solution by interfacing to an external audio codec (ADC and DAC). This allows the SCT2400 to comply with Sicomm's Digital Family Radio (DFR) digital voice protocol, and most of the call control layer features.

The SCT2400 includes a built-in LDO that typically operates at 3.3 V meaning that the typical I/O interface operating voltage is also 3.3 V. It connects to an external audio codec via a high-speed I²S port for voice data and I²C for control. Additional USB and UART ports provide user interfacing. This includes support for customer programming.
