Next-Generation USB-C® and USB-A Feedthrough Connectors

CLIFF Electronics has expanded its popular FT connector range with the addition of advanced USB-C 3.2 and USB 3.0 A feedthrough connectors. These innovative connectors are designed to simplify and streamline connectivity in professional equipment, enclosures, and rack panels. They provide true feedthrough data connections, eliminating the need for soldering or punch terminations. Instead, they utilize standard USB cables on both sides of the panel, making installation and servicing simple and fast. This plug-and-play design reduces assembly time and costs, while also improving reliability by reducing the number of connections and potential points of failure.

The connectors are designed to fit into an industry-standard 24 mm XLR panel cutout, simplifying system design and enhancing aesthetics by reducing panel clutter. They are available in a variety of robust finishes, including black plastic and nickel-plated metal, offering durability for a wide range of environments. With their low rear profile, they are also ideal for applications with limited space.
